1. Detailed description of goods and/or services
    Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd  is a business operating in the Ecommerce Industry that facilitates online ordering and shipping of goods. Goods are shipped directly from its partners and suppliers to customers that checkout on Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd’s website.

  2. Delivery policy
    Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 1 business day (Monday-Friday) and shipping information will be confirmed by email and/or SMS notification/s.

    We try our best to have orders delivered within 48 business hours however from time to time deliveries are affected by external factors such as strikes, accidents, or other unforeseen events.

    The product offering on this website is available to South African customers only.

  4. Cancelation Policy
    In the event that the Customer cancels the Order for Special Order Goods or Order for large quantities at any time after acceptance thereof by Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd, Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd shall be entitled to charge the Customer a reasonable penalty fee. The penalty fee will be used to cover transaction fees and costs associated with the order and can be up to 20% of the total order.

  5. Return and Refunds policy
    The provision of goods and services by Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability and the inability to fulfil an order, Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd will refund the customer. All refunds made by Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd will take 7 days to process. 
5.1 Conditions of return for refund on non-defective goods

5.1.1 Any non-defective goods returned, will need to be returned to Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd at the customer's cost. Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd will deduct the shipping cost from the final credit amount once approved.

5.1.2  Goods that are returned by the customer within 14 days will be subject to a return assessment. If the item is in a new and working order with the packing in its original condition, the item will be refunded by Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd in full.

5.1.3  Goods that are returned by the customer within 14 days and that are considered used, installed, configured, and or damaged during the return assessment may be rejected or accepted subject to a 15% handling fee. 

5.1.4 Any goods returned after 21 days will not be accepted back by Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd.

5.2 Conditions of return for refund or replacement of defective or potentially defective goods

5.2.1 Goods deemed to be defective and returned by the customer will only be accepted for replacement or refund by Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd if they have not been subject to Physical, Water, or Power Related Damage.

5.2.2  Goods deemed to be defective by the customer will be subject to a thorough inspection and return approval process that may take up to 14 days.

    Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal Information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

    Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard or Instant EFT upon checkout.

  3. Card acquiring and security
    Card transactions will be acquired for Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd via one of the selected payment gateway partners. All providers follow strict security protocols and no card details are stored on Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd’s website. 

  4. Customer details separate from card details
    Customer details will be stored by Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd separately from card details which are entered by the customer through one of the selected payment gateway providers upon checkout.

  5. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
    The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is
    South African Rand (ZAR).

  6. Responsibility
    Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website,
    customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

  7. Country of domicile
    This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

  8. Variation
    Hype Direct (Pty) Ltd may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
